What we collect

LightSack currently requires no account and collects no personal information directly. Your cart and trip plans are stored in your browser's local storage — they never leave your device and we cannot see them.

Hosting and logs

This site is hosted on Vercel, which may collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) to operate and secure the service. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Affiliate links

When you click a retailer link, the retailer and its affiliate network may set cookies to attribute your purchase to LightSack. That tracking happens on the retailer's side under their privacy policies (e.g., Amazon, REI). We receive aggregate commission reports, not your personal purchase details.

Future changes

If we add features that store data on our servers (such as user accounts and saved trips), we'll update this policy first and collect only what those features need.
